Dear Robert,

Why I read your emails?
As I mention in my last letter I’m still studying with a Christian Re-vival Group whose central teaching is that every Christian is able and has to directly listen to God’s Word, confirm It with the Bible and then act upon It accordingly. I believe that is the only proper way to serve the Lord.
And I read your articles on Be Still Know God because they are very much in line with the above mentioned teachings and I enjoy reading them as additional material to further open up my understanding of the Heavenly Father, Jesus & The Holy Spirit. They say that we can-not fully comprehend God’s Glory in our present state but it doesn’t mean that we cannot enjoy it! Thank you Robert.
At the moment I have no needs. Heavenly Father provides all my spiritual and material needs, and He’ll give me a nudge if I need something.
You know Robert, since I let The Holy Spirit guide me, I can speak with ease and without offending anybody against certain religious things that are established by 1,000~2,000 year old dogmas. And now I’m looking forward to start my own class very soon to convey God’s unabridged Word to my fellow Roman Catholics!

Blessings,

Absolutely!
Our emotions help us recognize what's judgment and what is simply choosing. If we choose to avoid the other driver without becoming upset we're simply choosing. If anger, frustration, and that sort of thing well up then we're getting into stuff that isn't good for food! Who does it affect?

Guy at work came in just the other day talking about getting cut off in traffic. He told about how he stopped his car with traffic coming both ways, made a u-turn and followed the other driver until the guy stopped and ran into a school. He was so enraged that he wasn't thinking. The rest of us hearing the story were stunned...

Our judgments will carry us away.....

There is another consideration, that by judging others we are allowing satan into our lives, we are playing the game by it's rules. I think the thing is not to expand to much on something, for example if someone cuts you up whilst driving, you can make the observation that the person is an inconsiderate driver and possible danger to other road users. You can then utilize that information to protect yourself ie; stay clear of the driver. That is not a negative action. However if you dwell on the situation in a critical manner, ie: start thinking negatively, it runs away with you and before long you're wishing harm (negative thoughts) on the individual. Judgement then becomes revenge. Clearly as God loves ALL his children, it makes it unpleasant for him to be with you and your negative thoughts towards others.

Dear Robert,

Thank you for a very informative article, for the first time I do really
understand why God is so adamant in that we should not judge. Firstly,
we do not have all the facts as Gods thoughts are not our thoughts, and
furthermore it is not our place to do so in any case, it is His job to
do that for the present if and when He so wills. One day in the
afterlife, we will be judges as the Word tells us, but, I am sure that
we will then have all the facts to do so righteously. Until then I
agree, "DO NOT JUDGE"

Blessings,

Johan

Gene,
What is evolving growth? From a spiritual perspective?

God made everything right? And God saw that it was good. That means that even the tree of knowledge of good and evil was good - it just wasn't a good choice for food.

It's very difficult for us who are so programmed to judge to think about leaving it behind. If God saw everything as good, why can't we see it that way? - because we judge.

Free will is a complicated topic because it's very foundations are built on assumptions that seem less than true to me.

Remember that most theological discussions come from the paradigm that teaches that we are separated from God and must find our way back. So far that appears to have created more confusion and no solution - which tells me there must be another paradigm that's more accurate.

Gene, you're killing me! :-) I see I'm going to have a lot more writing to do!!! I'd like to read my opinion on consciousness too!

It's past midnight here and I don't know if anything I write makes sense. Thanks, Gene for your comment. You always get me thinking.

Blessings,

Robert

Robert,
That was heavy and deep, good stuff. Interesting how you worked in judgement and choice from the forbidden tree that makes us see bad as well. I think determining right from wrong defiantly makes our world more complex and sometime unmanageable, but on the flip side if we only see the good there is know evolving growth. I've often wondered where did free will start, if god is all knowing he must of known Adam and Eve would eventually have eaten from the tree as well as Jesus knew Judas would betray him. So is it part of the big plan or is choice totally controlled by us individually. Genius is suppose to be our blue print from the start. When ever I have a discussion with people on topic homosexuality the first reply is go back to the start read Genius that tells us that's wrong, so is that judgement, is it that black and white, do I think homosexuals are put into damnation? I know that I can't judge that one it's beyond me, but personally no, because my God is a loving but righteous. I think the existence of human kind can have two outcomes 1st is we are like the big bang theory. we keep expanding to we hit our limit and will contract back to purity or we keep expanding to we reach purity. both outcomes reach unified purity. So would a world of purity and peace that most people yearn for fit into Gods plan, are we being selfish in the small amount of time we spend in the flesh I think there'd be no movement on the planet. Sorry didn't mean to get off topic but I believe good and bad are in our moral encompass that we are born with that leads us to make concusses choices. Not to sound crazy but I'm not totally sure, is it me making the choice or judgement or a higher power. My big question is where is my consciousness, in the two pounds of meat in my head or some other source pretty scary ha ha???
Robert love to read your opinion on consciousness.
    thanks keep the faith Gene
