One of my subscribers recently sent me a link to Divine Openings.
I don’t buy many books anymore but for some reason I bought this book immediately. I’m glad I did!
Lola Jones
Who is Lola Jones?
Lola is a teacher, artist, singer and writer. While I have not yet met her, I have found her writing inspiring. I have not yet written my book but when I do it will be similar. In fact, I could have written much of it myself. My personal experience is different of course. The spiritual principles however are the same as you’ve found in my site.
I love the simplicity of her book “Things Are Going Great In My Absence”. It is clear, practical, to the point, easy to follow and filled with light and truth! – and I’m only halfway through at this point – and can’t wait to get to the end. She encourages you to read it slowly and I’m trying my best.
If you’ve enjoyed my site I believe you will love Lola’s book.
The whole idea behind Divine Openings is about letting go and letting God. It’s about getting out of the way. This is truly our only job. Opening to the Divine isn’t some difficult, nearly impossible task that we’ve got to get right before something bad happens. Lola Jones explains very clearly how to get out of the way and let Grace in.
Another thing I like is the way she points you to the Divine within. She’s not seeking to create a following of spiritually dependent people. You don’t need a guru or spiritual leader. You already have everything you need. Open up to that fact. Lola’s book will jumpstart the process for you.
If you have already read and enjoyed this book, please share your comments and experiences below.

Hi Robert,
I’m a nervous Christian. I am interested in this book,Things are Going Great…. but I’m concerned that it is not in alignment with my beliefs. I am open-minded, to a point
. Since I have been reading your posts for a while now, I find that I think about God in a similar way to you. I have to admit I love the idea that this book and Lola’s work could be a path to deeper understanding and healing in my life, but it seems a little farther out there than I can handle. I am truly curious how you connect with what she brings.
Would you be willing to share that with me?
Thanks
If you are a nervous Christian then Lola’s book is not in alignment with all of your beliefs. But the question you might want to ask is why are you nervous? – and does Christ call us to be nervous believers?
Lola’s book is awesome. Some of the language is a little different from what we Christians are used to. That makes us nervous doesn’t it? She went to India and received an initiation to do this work. I used to have a problem with that kind of thing. I don’t anymore. She describes what took place in different places throughout the book. She remained silent for 21 days throughout the event. I’ve come nowhere near anything like that. The thing is she had her own experience while in India. She didn’t align herself with the guru as they wanted her to. She has always felt that a person doesn’t need a guru to have a relationship with God – and I completely agree. That is not to say that we learn from people who are offering classes, books, websites, etc. But we don’t elevate them to guru status and worship them.
My advice is to buy it if you feel attracted to it and hold of if you feel it’s too soon. Trust your inner guidance. That’s one of the ways in which God speaks to you and directs you. You won’t go wrong.
I connect very deeply with what she’s offering. It’s just where I am right now. I understand that many aren’t in that place but some will be. That’s why I created this page. One of you pointed me to Lola’s site and I really appreciate that. Now I’m passing it on!
DOESN’T SOUND GOOD TO ME!!! I THOUGHT THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS TO LEAD YOU AND GUIDE YOU !! NOT LOLA JONES?? HOLY SPIRIT COMES INTO MY HEART TO LEAD ME AND GUIDE ME INTO ALL TRUTHS. ( LOLA JONES ) NOT IN MY BIBLE?? ~~ BUT! SEND ME SOMETHING SHE WROTE. ILL KEEP AN OPEN MIND,AND SEE WHAT SHE HAS TO SAY AND SEE WHAT THE BIBLE SAYES ABOUT THE SUBJECT. ( GURU ) ????
Bill,
You’re absolutely right – The Holy Spirit is to lead and guide you. I also think we can benefit from the help of others who are a little farther along.
Take a look at her site. It probably won’t set with more traditional Christians. For others it may be very helpful.
You decide. I just put it out there.
Robert
Hi Robert
I clicked on the link for Lolas website & scanned the info on her site. It looks very New Age with not a hint of GOD or God’s word with scripture reference.
As New Age philosophy, Yoga meditation (TM) may cloak itself to similar to connect with the divine, I question the book and her background especially were she talks about in her training –
Have you read and put into practice her info. does it stack up to GODS word.
Tony
Hey Tony,
Glad you checked out Lola’s site.
It does look very New Age. I haven’t really spent that much time on her site.
I bought her book fairly quickly. I just felt drawn to it within. I trust that guidance much more than I used to.
Her book is remarkable. She doesn’t quote scripture but she does mention God. Her God concept is different than the typical Christian view – but it’s more in alignment with the way I see God – which is still evolving. After all how do you define the infinite without expanding and evolving?
I personally don’t have a problem with the lack of scripture references in her book – I supply them as I read. I really haven’t thought about this before writing this reply to you – but I have developed a habit of thinking of and applying scriptures to the passages I read in the works of current writers such as Lola. I find that some of the writings of people in our day help bring clarity to scriptures I haven’t completely understood previously.
I don’t get too caught up in what the author is saying – I read for my own enlightenment and understanding. I find that when I read whatever I am drawn toward with this intention, without judging the work or the author I receive some amazing insights. They really can’t be attributed to the author because usually what I get isn’t written there. Does that make sense?
In her book, Lola provides a few exercises such as making a list of issues you’ve had with other people among others. I haven’t done all of them. I’m a bit of a maverick I suppose. He book really isn’t about doing anything however. It’s really about getting out of the way and letting Grace in. I see it as “Letting go and Letting God”.
Her work is absolutely in alignment with God’s word – but that depends on a person’s interpretation of God’s word. That is the reason I created this site to encourage a two way communicating with God type of relating to God. Most of our interpretations of scriptures come from previous training we received as children – not from our own personal proving of them.
To accept what we’ve been told without proving it out ourselves is to neglect that scriptural admonition:
Phillipians 2:12
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. (KJV)
We must prove God for ourselves. That is the foundation of our faith and the process by which we work out our own salvation. This is a responsiblity that most ignore and they do themselves a disservice. To accept what you’ve been taught without questioning, is to believe without understanding. Understanding comes from testing and proving. Most people are afraid of this process because at some level they know that their accepted traditions will not withstand the inspection. It’s easier to leave them untested and hope everything will be alright. True freedom is achieved by the testing and proving.
John 8:32
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (KJV)
Knowing comes via the understanding that proving and testing provides.
This is my process and it brings me great freedom.
I offer this not to encourage you to read Lola’s book but to encourage you to work out your own salvation.
I happen to have great appreciation for her book. That doesn’t mean that anyone else needs it or should read it. I believe it will benefit anyone who will read it without judment – just as reading the Bible will benefit you if you read it without judgment and by judment I mean preconceived notions.
If you read her book or if you don’t, do what you do with the intention and goal of developing a deeper relationship with God and working out your own salvation.
You won’t go wrong and you won’t be deceived.
Thanks for sharing your question with everyone.
Blessings,
Robert
Robert.
Love the way you explained this about evolving in your own spiritual journey and to evolve and not have any guilt feelings to step out and read other resources that will help us to connect the dots as a person of faith in Jesus. That’s what this is all about, we have the foundation of the bible that we can always come back to that’s our rock. To all, pick and choose the wisdom in the message that apply to you, what you read and not take it all literally. Remember Jesus walk his own walk with out any attachments to rituals apart from the prophecies and if we want to be Christ like we need to walk our own walk that’s why god gave us free will in a positive manner not in a dogmatic manner. it’s all about growth, wisdom and faith.
I’ve read and learned so much from buddha, the Tao and Hinduisms, does it make me take a title and fix my self to that specific religion?? no for I am a follower in Jesus, he is the truth and the only way. We need to follow our spirit not our minds and curiosity to evolve as christians. I try to live my life through the spirit and the rest will follow. This is the gift God gave us in spirit

All truth belongs to God. I think the question that we must ask, and what I here lacking from both sides of this debate – how is God glorified in all this? Regardless of what we prefer and what we are accustomed and are willing to explore, we must constantly try our actions or lack thereof with the question can God be glorified in this. Secondly, we can not assume that a personal benefit, or that a growth in our own understanding of this world and its happenings means God receiving more glory. Faith functions as a medium by which we live for the glory of God, with the hope of his promises/word being true and worthy of our dependence.
I visited Lola’s site when I received the email and was a little taken aback when I didn’t see Christian/God/Jesus plastered all across the page. I think one thing as Christians we need to understand – we do not have a monopoly on God or His truth. We must understand that if Jesus is the truth, then all truth belongs to Him, regardless of where it is found. People don’t have to use our same linguistic imagery to describe God. God has created all people to have the capacity to know him through his creation (Roman’s 1). So we can’t be so narrow-minded to think that truth has to be encased in the language we are familiar and comfortable with. Jesus didn’t speak KJV English, in fact when he walked the earth English didn’t even exist.
So I say all this to say that I can see both sides of the debate, but would hope that all of us can inspect our own hearts, which can be deceived, and ask God to reveal to us what will bring him Glory, not just what we hope to gain and understand, but God what’s going to make me love you more deeply, trust you more fully, and praise you more sincerely – and at the end of the day I think God’s response will be that only He himself can draw us unto himself.
SORRY TIRED OF HEARING ABOUT LOLA JONES!!!!
Nick,
I get your point and I think there is something else present and that’s a healthy dose of judgment.
Any of you who are against this book – have you actually read it? Looks to me like the proverbial judging a book by it’s website…
My site here at BeStillKnowGod.com is all about movement. It’s about shift and change and growth into a deeper relationship with God. If you’re looking for a deeper relationship with God then that will require some change, some growth on your end.
The ONLY way you’re going to grow is if you are willing to drop some of your judgments. I probably need to write more about this – but judgments will keep you stuck right where you are – they are that which stuck you in the first place.
Being open to consider anything outside your comfort zone has a way of helping those judgments break up. If you can accept whatever it is without judgment you may actually profit from it. The greatest advancement will be the release of judgment.
I will offer stuff here that may test the limits of your judgments. Lola’s book is such stuff. Most of my posts are such stuff.
Sit with it and accept that which fits you. Judge not and you’ll not be judged – and I believe God is glorified in that.
Robert
Robert.
I’ll keep it short Amen to that !!!!!!!!
This topic generated such debate but through debate there is great growth and wisdom to open up our minds and spark the spirit. Judgement only results in ignorance and lack of freedom

Robert,
Had to add here, I’ve always had this deep curious question in my mind why I was born in the western world that is mostly of the christian religion and followed christian traditions and I understand god places us where we are suppose to be. So why wasn’t I born in Israel and became a Jew or India and became a hindu and etc, would that make me a lesser person of faith, because that would have been my traditional religion and culture to follow. I work and have lived in a multi cultural areas and enjoy talking and fascinated in other religions, cultures and belief systems. Don’t ask me why maybe I’m just a curious person by nature. When I have talk to a muslim, Jew, buddha’s and etc I found such curiosity from me to the other the deep understanding from the other for understanding. what a instant mutual bond formed. There was no agenda to change the other but just true understanding. I truly believe in some way we are all connect. That helped me lose my judgement of other religious beliefs, because I can say they all lead to the same point and the search for why and where am I going after all this life stuff in the body. Fear comes first and guilt follows what a waste of a precious life. I force my self and pray for the courage to fight such a ignorant perspective of life. I don’t know who’s wrong or right, but I follow where my spirit is taking me to with trust and pay attention without any attachments to religious systems. Please note, I’m not bashing religion but I’ve learned to separate religion from faith that was very hard for me to understand at first. Jesus has taken me on one heck of a ride and amazingly it circles back to him. What freedom
gene
Gene,
I find the response interesting. There are always a few vocal folks.
We can all learn something.
Robert
Sounds like you’ve discovered the amazing freedom that comes when you drop judgment and enjoy the possibilities of the other person’s perspective. And you’ve found peace.
That’s the result of letting go of the “I’m right your wrong” mentality.
I also have enjoyed talking with folks of different religious beliefs. Thru this site I’m meeting more folks of varying belief. All believe whatever they do. Beliefs aren’t facts. They’re just beliefs. I know that smacks up against some of the religious training we’ve all had.
The thing I had to ask with regard to my personal religious training was “If this belief system is so perfect and right then why isn’t it producing for me that which it promises?” Eventually I found that it had everything to do with me and little to do with the religious system – because religious systems exist only to support those who believe in them. Those who join any religious movement do so because it is in alignment with their current set of beliefs. In other words your beliefs create your religion – not the other way around.
I didn’t intend to get into all this in a comment so I’m going to stop now…….
Thanks Gene for your comments.
Robert
Bill,
You may stop listening any time you choose.
Relating to the Lola Jones topic: Has anyone else noticed how quickly people have become polarized over this recommendation? Have you noticed how many comments have been posted on this page – and how quickly they’ve come?
We each choose our response to any stimulus.
Robert
I don’t even know how I came upon this site, but I’m so glad I did. I am a follower of Jesus and His principles of love, truth, faith, harmony, peace, etc. Wherever those can be found–no matter where I discover them and Him through them–observing children at play, observing the waves of the ocean, the leaves of a tree, or feeling the breeze, knowing not from whence it came–I embrace it. We are to fear not–God is Who He is! We can love him, not fearing someone can destroy Him. God does not need our protection. Though we often think we can protect Him. Then the fighting starts. The judging starts. And all the principles we say we treasure go right out the window. God’s law and principles can be found in the awesome biblical scriptures. Those life-giving principles can be discovered in books written today too, by modern day people who have taken the time to know Him and share Him–just as Jesus came to share Him and embody Him (and be Him). The fights and judgments among us prove so many things–among them are that we so need each other to show us who we are and who we can be…as we reach for the Higher road, the Higher principles, all that eventually glorify the Most High…the Creator of all; from Whose Love we can never be separated. Learning, growing, understanding, sharing, with an intent to move closer to our One God is a wonderful thing. In it, I suspect He gets glorified.
Dear FJ,
Thank you for your words of gentle wisdom.
I’ve been told recently that I’m angry and judgmental. Sorry to all of you if I’ve come across that way. It is not my intention but it is easy for me to slip back into the old ways of being!
I also think God is glorified as we learn, grow and share with the intent to move into oneness with God.
Blessings,
Robert
Robert!! You didn’t post my last comment?? I did read something Lola wrote. But I’ll keep my comment to myself.I’m sorry that you thought I was judging Lola.Every time I came to this site it was Lola,Lola, Lola, wait a minute don’t get mad yet! I like to hear about God,Jesus,Love,Joy,Peace,Forgiveness etc: And I guess I got mad and I shouldn’t have.( No doubt )Lola is a fine person. Please forgive me!! I wish you the very best in life, also MISS LOLA JONES. May God Bless!! PS: And now I’m going to unsubscribe like I said I would, and again take care and may God Bless !!!! By! By !
Bill,
I didn’t post your last comment. I just didn’t think it added anything to the discussion.
I’ll include this one. Even though I’m selective about what I allow to be posted I do approve almost all comments.
I’m sure there were others upset with my recommendation of Lola. I’d encourage each of you to sit with your anger and discover it’s source for yourself. I find myself having to practice this when I’m frustrated with some of the personal emails I receive as well as the occasional blog comment. Just being honest here.
I don’t really want to see anyone unsubscribe – but if you feel you must then so be it.
Blessings,
Robert
Robert,
Here is a example ( Bill ) of a persons old traditional belief pattern I call it to follow and not look around and pay attention to how people are evolving and in search of a spiritual manner that applies to ones self. I’m not casting judgement on Bills religion viewpoints for that works for him and to stay in that comfort zone. I believe it takes more trust and faith in God to step out the box. Somebody like Bill I would not even respond back, because he will only feed off your response and push his agenda more to get a self form of satisfying ego for his existences, but I know Robert you have to respond for it’s you web site. I’ve been reading all the blogs on this topic, interesting to me how all the responses where either from the left or the right. Now this is growth, look at all the seeds that have been planted for some if not all. This might come in to play for some of us in years to come through trying times, because in trying times our ego is beat up and thats when we are more receptive to learn and understand the big question WHY. Robert please don’t get discouraged for you have a true gift to share the message, even if it takes some righteous love, for I am a big fan of yours
keep it going Gene
Robert,
The right to search for the truth implies also a duty; one must not conceal any part of what one has recognized to be the truth. ”Albert einstein”

Gene,
Thanks my friend for the encouragement.
This is good for all of us if it prompts us to look within – because that’s where it all comes from…
Robert
Hi Robert,
Allow me to join in a bit in the Lola discussion, please.
Since childhood I wanted to be a Christian. I just wanted to. I live in Indonesia, my parents are very tolerant moslems (bordering on non-religious) and all I got was moral guidance. With no religiuous guidance, I grew up becoming a non-religious person. But the longing for the Truth is always there, hidden deep in my heart!
After reaching 53 (that was in 2003) I finally managed to embrace the Catholic religion. But something was amiss. Searching for the Truth, I soon joined the Catholic Charismatic movement. I found more Truth there, but I felt something is still missing. So I joined a truly Charismatic Church for 3 years. Again I found more Truth there, but I also came in touch with the theology of prosperity. Something in my heart tells me that that is not the whole Truth at all!
And at about the same time I was lead to discover several websites (including http://www.bestillknowgod.com, which is the easiest to follow) talking about the need to have direct communication with God in order to really understand Him and the guidance of the Holy Spirit to the whole Truth!
And before long, a friend took me to a seminar by a non-denominational Christian Revival Group about just that topic! Now I’m a member of that group for the last 1 year, still studying and happily returning to the Catholic Church with a new understanding that no church is perfect, and it’s of no use comparing non-perfect doctrines against each other! What matters is God’s Word communicated directly and confirmed in the Scriptures — the Truth goes beyond the printed words! It’s so beautiful and it is our duty to convey it to our brothers and sisters in our respective churches.
No grudges, no judgments, no envy, no regrets for the past, no fear for the future, … old teachings about backbones and pride and self-esteem are no match compared to the all-embracing Power of God’s Love! They just fade away! Collosians 1:13 – “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son” There really is heaven on earth!
We can live in divine bliss — now — on earth!
I ran out of expressions! And then comes Lola, explaining such grand things with such ease!
Not so long ago, I was lead to understand about the Genesis Gap, which closes the gap between God’s Word and man’s science.
And now, after reading her book/books, I believe I will have a glimpse or two of what Our Heavenly Father has in store for us AFTER the Millenium Kingdom!
God Bless You Robert and God Bless You Lola!
Dear Pungki,
Thanks so much for your comments. You’ve had quite a journey!
Well stated! Beautiful!
Blessings,
Robert
Hello Robert,
I loved reading many of the comments on this page, however I was also deeply saddened at some of the harsh judgments that were put forth. Jesus teaches us to “Judge not”.. but when a person’s belief is threatened we tend to still do exactly that. I would like to address that herewith if I may.
I am not wishing to bring up the Lola debate again, but that is how I found your website and I do have some comments. I have listened to and read Lola’s teachings, and as a long time Christian I find a lot of what she says to be very similar to what Jesus himself said. I am not making a comparison per se except to say that Jesus was trying (by example largely) to lead us into surrender to the Will of God, and that is what Lola suggests as well. Another similarity that I would like to point out is that she asks us to “Let God do the heavy lifting”.. which is remarkably similar to what the church teaches when it asks that we accept Jesus as our savior and let Him remove our sins. Are the two really so different? I think not.
And by the way.. for those who are not aware, the word which we translate as “sin” and which has such heavy implications, in ancient Aramaic was an archery term which simply meant “to miss the mark”. So then in reality, Jesus is simply showing us how we may become better, and stop “missing the mark”.. which takes us away from God. Instead, He was trying to point the way TO God.
As you know, Jesus taught that the Kingdom of Heaven was within, and that is something that Lola relates as well. She holds stillness retreats for days at a time, where silence is held for the duration, and during which one is directed to go within and connect with one’s own divine nature. I have done silent retreats myself, and they are really beautiful and quite powerful to experience.
Also, and as your website name indicates, we can, “Be Still And Know God”. When we become still and go within (also known as meditating), and we ask for divine revelation, we will eventually get it. We will come to know ourselves in God and to know the Stillness that is within. We will also come to know, as I have, that the same peace and stillness that can be found within is “in the midst of us” as well.
I would like to add that I have never been to a retreat of Lola’s nor am I defending her, but I do know that the only way that we can truly KNOW the Kingdom is through direct experience. I also know that it can happen by going within, or by asking the Father to give us the direct experience in some other fashion, and that is exactly what she teaches.
This I think is where most of traditional Christianity misses the mark and why a lot of people become confused. The teaching is fundamentally to accept Christ as our Savior (which I did at 15 and experienced being born again) and there is great power in that if it results in an authentic experience of the Holy Spirit. If it does not however, it is more a symbolic representation than an actual experience of the Divine.
This same teaching does not however lead us to believe that we too are Divine, and can experience ourselves as such, but in fact teaches us the exact opposite. Jesus however, WAS trying to show us that we are divine, and that we can ourselves find God. “I am the way, the truth, and the life, to me clearly points out that he could show us the way. He also said that the things He did, we could do also, and MORE. And He made reference to Corinthians at one point, saying “Ye are gods”. And additionally, he also told us that the Kingdom of God (Heaven) was within.
In 1 Corinthians 3:16 the bible says: “Know ye not that ye are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” This is the reference I mentioned above that Jesus spoke of. And it is also something that I know to be true. This is a bold claim I know, but it is the truth. After the death of my wife in 1994 I asked God to show me the Truth of Life. I needed to know who, and what I was, and I was shown.
After I was given a glimpse of Heaven on Earth for the first time seven years later, I realized by direct experience that the Spirit of God does indeed indwell our body, and that we ARE that Spirit. That same Spirit is not only within all of us, it IS all of us, and it is within the earth and all of Creation as well. This is enormously difficult for most Christians to wrap their head around however, for the obvious reason that we are taught that Jesus was the only Son of God, and that we are lesser beings. Neither of which are true.
I also came to understand after that experience that Jesus was trying to point us in that direction all along. The Kingdom of Heaven IS within. The reason so few know it, is because they do not seek it, nor do they ask to be shown. And as I said earlier, most of the fundamental teachings in Christianity do not generally include such (and in fact consider it blasphemous to even think it). So therefore unless we are what I would term a true seeker, it is unlikely that we will stray far from the teachings of the church. I have discovered however, that when you do seek you will find, when you knock it shall be opened, and when you ask you shall indeed receive. And it is the Father’s good pleasure to assist us.
I have since had these experiences many more times, with each taking me deeper, and I know that anyone can experience it as I have. In fact, it is God’s will that it be so. In the third experience I had (which I call Spiritual Awakenings, or Openings into Oneness), God’s Voice came to me for the second time and said “It is My Will than you know who and what you are”. I realized afterward that God was saying to me that it is Divine Will that we ALL experience our own divinity directly.
I also realize if you even post this that it may be very controversial and draw negative feedback simply because I state that God spoke to me, and/or for saying that I have experienced the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. I say this because I have had the experience of being severely judged for saying these things before, but only from Christians ironically. All of what I have written did actually happen to me however.. and I know of other people who have had similar or very nearly identical experiences as well.
In closing, I also know in my heart of hearts that God wants us to stop living in fear, and to stop fighting and warring with one another, even as was done on this website.. and I believe the only way that will happen is if we all experience the Truth from within. We are all part of what I know to be, and was told is “The Body Of God In Creation”. We are all brothers and sisters on this planet. We all come from the same God, and we all live in God’s creation, and we all return to the same God in spirit when we die.
Having said that however, we can only really know it by direct experience. We only know for certain what we directly experience.. everything else is just belief.
Blessings to all,
Rev. Dr. John Michael Christian
Dr. Christian,
Thanks so much for sharing your comments.
You likely noticed that those who judged Lola Jones and her work on this page never read her book or participated in one of her courses.
It’s the proverbial “judging a book by it’s cover” – which is not recommended but we do it anyway!
I love what you’ve shared of your own experience and what God has spoken to you. It’s the same thing He’s sharing with me!
I love a tweet by Deepak Chopra “All belief is a cover up for insecurity. Only knowledge and experience will do.”
Blessings,
Robert
Hi Robert,
Thank you for replying to my post. I noticed that you read all of the comments on your site and respond to many of them. I think I’ll re-create my site as a blog so I can do that, or add one to it.
I did notice that most of the folks who were against Lola hadn’t seen her book or really looked into what she’s about. She’s a very sweet, and very conscious person, as you know.
I was reading your home page a few minutes ago and saw that you said you’d been looking for God for most of your life (as have I) and had found him. I had feeling the first time I read some of your posts that you had. I can usually tell by the way a person expresses themselves roughly where their level of consciousness is at. I call it how “awake” they are.
I expect your experiences must have been similar to mine, or perhaps beyond. I still have a very long way to go compared to some of the people on the planet today.. but even where I am at is incredible compared to where I was just 10 years ago. I feel so blessed sometimes that I find myself in tears of gratitude. As you said, it is God’s good pleasure to give us the keys to the Kingdom. And all we have to do is ask. The ironic thing about it is that we’re already in it but aren’t aware of it.
John
Thanks John,
I spent some time on your site as well!
Like a friend of mine used to say “We went to the same school together” – in reference to learning life lessons similar to people we haven’t even met!
Amazing!
I love WordPress as it allows for a blog scenario. I don’t get a lot of comments compared to number of visits but that’s ok. It used to bother me some but I also realize that people don’t always feel comfortable sharing online. But if they’re looking, it is here!
Blessings,
Robert
